I'm so glad that I get to do what I love for a living and that you are
here enjoying my work. Please feel free to pinch me when you see me
because I need to be reminded that this is real. Okay, maybe be gentle, I
bruise easily. ;)
I am your typical tell it to you like it is, no sugar
coating, rip the band aid off kind of girl. However, being born and raised with
respect, I will feel compelled at times to offer you a cold drink and something
to eat as I do it! :) I love fiercely and hold a grudge forever. I hate and
love sappy movies all at the same time, because they make me cry. I won't say
I'm sorry, but will admit when I'm wrong. I will fight to the death for those I
love and never think twice about those who betray me. I am hard, I am soft. I
love and I hate. I hold too much in, and I let too much out. Ask me and I'll
tell you. Don't get mad at what I say. I am strong. I am weak. I am broken, I
am whole. I will be your best friend, or I can be your worst enemy. I am proud,
I am humble. I am a contradiction. I am a woman! I am a dreamer, one of those
people who believes that everything happens for a reason, I believe in karma
and my favorite word is serendipity...which is an aptitude for making desirable
discoveries by accident! ) I still believe that someone can still find true
happiness...that romance is still alive and well...that patience makes you
stronger...and that good things do come to those who wait! I may be have some gray hairs and bumps and
bruises but each one comes with a story... that is all mine to tell. I love
sunsets over the beach, the hot sand under my feet, the sound of the ocean
ripping up the tide. I love the crisp smell of fall, with apple cider and
leaves burning. Christmas is my favorite time of year, because its all about
memories, past and those yet to come. I am the one who loves to stand outside
in the middle of a storm, just to watch the winds whip and the skies crack with
lightning.
I have enjoyed taking pictures as long as I can remember. I was always the one with a camera in my hand since I was 15 years old. I've always loved taking pictures of people! . In high school, I took my first photography class and my passion for photography grew. I have had the privilege of working with so many amazing families and capturing beautiful love stories since. I continue to grow and learn in photography and business. I hope the learning and growing never ends! Knowing that in 100 years someone will look at an image I created and feel compelled to smile, cry or just be thankful it was taken, that is my "why".
